International Meeting “Creating the Future Today”

To present modern approaches to developing inclusion and an accessible environment for people with disabilities
The official international meeting “Creating the Future Today” will take place in Geneva on April 30, 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00 in the conference hall of the UN Office in Switzerland.

It is organized by the Interregional Charitable Public Organization for Assistance to Persons with Disabilities “Sail of Hope.” Its main goal is to promote the principles of inclusion and equal opportunities for people with disabilities on the global agenda.

The meeting aims to bring together representatives of the UN, international organizations, experts from commercial companies, activists of social initiatives, and all those who pay special attention to the rights of people with disabilities.

The event will address issues of promoting international dialogue on inclusive policies, sharing experiences, and discussing approaches to ensuring the safety and social support of people with disabilities.

Other objectives of the event are:

1. To present modern approaches to developing inclusion and an accessible environment for people with disabilities.

2. To discuss issues of an inclusive economy and digital security for people with disabilities in modern society.

3. Strengthen international cooperation within the framework of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

4. And present an international charity project—a photo exhibition, “The World Through Your Eyes,” by people with disabilities.
