On April 30, a discussion on equal opportunity and inclusion was held in Geneva with representatives of business and international organizations.

Participants in the “Creating the Future Today” discussion discussed social initiatives and the role of technology in expanding access to opportunity.

RIA Novosti reported on an event hosted by Russia at the UN headquarters in Switzerland on inclusion and equal opportunity.

The “Creating the Future Today” discussion brought together representatives of international organizations, businesses, and experts from China, Russia, Mongolia, Moldova, the Baltic states, Serbia, and Turkey.

The event was organized by the interregional charitable organization “Sail of Hope,” which has consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council.

The official venue featured the international photo exhibition “The World Through My Eyes,” featuring people with disabilities from more than 30 countries.

The program also included a presentation of a film by the Social Cinema Foundation about the use of artificial intelligence. It demonstrates how technologies are being applied in medicine, ecology, and other fields—from drug development to patient monitoring and the conservation of rare animal species.

Participants noted that the development of inclusive practices requires ongoing collaboration between businesses, public organizations, and international institutions. The discussion provided a platform for exchanging experiences and promoting initiatives aimed at expanding equal opportunities.
